New Textbook on Philosophy of Law

At the end of December 2024, with the support of New Vision University and USAID Rule of Law Program, a textbook titled "Philosophy of Law" was published, authored by Tinatin Erkvania, an affiliated associate professor at New Vision University School of Law.

The book was created within the framework of the university's current course and represents an important academic resource for both students and readers interested in the field.

The textbook was written at the Max Planck Institute for Comparative Public Law and International Law in Heidelberg (MPIL Heidelberg), within the framework of a joint grant program of the LEPL Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation and the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD).

The textbook aims to fill the vacuum created by the literature deficit in Georgian legal science after the restoration of Georgia's independence.

It is noteworthy that the book was published with the support of the USAID Rule of Law Program, which emphasizes the project's importance for the development of legal education in Georgia.
