Round Table Discussion on Legal Ethics at Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University

On January 22, 2020, at 4:00PM, New Vision University legal ethics chair,  together with Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University are organizing a round table on ‘Confidentiality and Privilege’. Mrs. Ana Loria, New Vision University Legal Ethics Co-chair and the Member of the Georgian Bar Association Ethics Commission, will lead the discussion. The round table discussion will be on the definition of confidentiality and a privilege, legislative gaps and the scope of privilege. The speaker will discuss related regulations and case law in Georgia, as well as in Europe, the UK, and the United States. The Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University will host this event in Batumi. Legal practitioners and law professors are invited to attend and participate in a round table. The event is supported by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) within the framework of East-West Management Institute’s (EWMI) project Promoting Rule of Law in Georgia (PROLoG).
