Public Lecture on Practical Challenges of Attorney Ethics
On October 28th, NVU hosted a public lecture on the issues of “Practical Challenges of the Attorney Ethics". The public lecture was chaired by lawyer and a legal expert Ana Loria and assisted by the attorney Irakli Kordzakhia.
It was dedicated to important and problematic issues of legal ethics. Chairs provided a brief summary of the subject and then discussed four different topics including conflict of interest, multidisciplinary practice, the scope of application of the code of ethics and attorney fee regulation. Lawyers, students, lecturers and representatives of other universities attended the event and were actively involved, in a discussion which followed after each topic.
The Project is implemented with the support of United States Agency for International Development (USAID) within the framework of East-West Management Institute’s (EWMI) project Promoting Rule of Law in Georgia (PROLoG).
