National Moot Disciplinary Hearings on Legal Ethics

The New Vision University Legal Ethics Chair calls for applications of student teams for Moot Disciplinary Hearings on Legal Ethics in November 27-28, 2021. Only third- and fourth-year BA law faculty students and LLM students (except member attorneys of the Georgian Bar Association) are eligible to participate in Moot Disciplinary Hearings. Each team should consist out of three or four students. The priority will be given to the first registered 10 groups from Tbilisi and from the regions.  It is advisable for the team to have a coach. The selected teams will represent their positions on the moot hearing of the Georgian Bar Association Ethics Commission. Moot Disciplinary Hearings will have two phases: After the preliminary rounds held on the first day of the Moot Court, four groups will be chosen for the finals. Special awards and nominations for finalists will be revealed after the finals, during the award ceremony. Due to Covid-19 pandemic, to ensure the safety of the participants, the Moot Disciplinary Hearings will be held online. Participating teams should fill the application form and send it to the following email legalethicschair@newvision.ge before November 1st, 2021.
