Tamar Tskhvitava holds a Bachelor’s degree in Philology (English) from Tbilisi State University (1999), a Master’s degree in International Economics from Sokhumi State University (2009), and a PhD in Educational Sciences from International Black Sea University (2017).

Since 2000, she has participated in numerous local and international English language teacher training programs, conferences, and academic publications. She holds Cambridge ESOL CELTA, TKT Modules 1–3, and Business English Teaching (BET) certificates, as well as a Certificate in Advanced English (CEFR C1).

Tamar has 18 years of teaching experience in General English and English for Specific Purposes (ESP), working with university students and learners of different age groups. She has taught at GIPA, Tbilisi State University, Agricultural University of Georgia, Ilia State University, IBSU, and other educational institutions. Since 2012, she has also worked as an English language examiner/marker for the National Examination Centre.
