Ekaterine Gabashvili holds master degree in Nanobiophysics from Dresden University of Technology, Germany. Since 2016, she is a PhD student at Ilia State University and has been actively involved in the international projects of Microbiology and Molecular Genetics. She was also visiting scientist at the University of Texas Medical Branch (USA), Wrocław University of Science and Technology (Poland), Chalmers University of Technology (Sweden) and etc. She was a scholarship holder of Swedish Institute Visby Programme and Shota Rustaveli National Foundation for PhD studies.
