CALL FOR CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE ASSOCIATION OF EUROPEAN STUDIES FOR THE CAUCASUS BOOK SERIES

We’re happy to announce another Call for Contributions to the AESC book series, volume 4:

"The ‘New’ Geopolitics in the Caucasus and the EU’s Role"

AESC is the Caucasus’ only regional association of European Studies. It held its Fifth Annual Convention in December 2021 to discuss the ‘New’ Geopolitics in the Caucasus and along with the EU's presence in the region assess the impact of ‘old’ (Russia) and ‘new’ (Iran, Turkey) geopolitical actors, in particular following the Autumn 2020 war between Armenia and Azerbaijan and Russia's war in Ukraine. This new geopolitical constellation is complicated by developments in the Middle East, Taliban rule in Afghanistan and the interest of India in developing a presence in the Caucasus.

Submitted papers will be peer-reviewed and are scheduled to be published in the AESC’ own book series “European Studies in the Caucasus”, published by ibidem publishers Germany and distributed worldwide under an agreement with Cambridge University Press. For details, please see Books – AESC (aesc-online.eu).

If you are interested in publishing with us, please send an abstract of your paper (maximum 500 words) by 2 May 2022 to kruessmann.thomas@gmail.com; ir@newvision.ge

We shall then discuss the time frames for the final publication with the publisher.
