Sophie Bojgua, Ph.D. student and Assistant Professor at NVU, has successfully completed the OSCE (objective structured clinical examination) organized by the International Federation of Cervical Pathology and Colposcopy (IFCPC), the International Agency of Cancer Research (IARC) and the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA).
Professor Bojgua participated in a six-month online cervical cancer prevention course which covered theoretical and practical components for management of cervical cancer and colposcopy research. A final exam was held at Lyon, France. An international certificate was awarded to Sophie Bojgua.
This certified program is a regional initiative of the United Nations Population Fund, which works toward cancer prevention. Approximately 150 participants from 17 countries participated.
