Kornely Kakachia is a Professor at New Vision University since 2015 and holds a Ph.D. Degree from Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University. He was a Visiting Fellow at John F. Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University as well as a Research Scholar at The Johns Hopkins University (USA) and taught at various universities namely: Tbilisi State University, University of Georgia, Harvard University, Boston University, SAIS The Johns Hopkins University, Columbia University (USA), Odessa University (Ukraine), Catania University (Italy) and Queens University (Canada). Professor Kakachia is a Member of International Studies Association (ISA), Board Member of the Georgian Political Science Association, Member of the Programme on New Approaches to Research and Security in Eurasia (PONARS Eurasia), Georgetown University, Washington DC. He is an author and co-author of many publications and books including "International System since Westphalia up to the End of Bipolar System" (2014), "Georgian Foreign Policy: Quest for Sustainable Security" (2013), "Role of Social Networks in Georgian Party Politics" (2013).
