On September 19-21, 2019, the Congress of the European Resuscitation Council (ERC) was held in Ljubljana, with the participation of 1500 delegates from around the world. It is noteworthy that Georgia, as the only non-member country invited to the European Resuscitation Council, was represented by New Vision University.
George Beria, Director of Skills Laboratory and Training Center at the New Vision University, presented the study entitled “Challenges of implementing and utilizing effective BLS and PBLS according to ERC guidelines in the country of Georgia”, which was published in the magazine - Resuscitation 2019.
During the council, important meetings were held with ERC Chair Jerry P. Nolan and also Jonathan Wyllie, President of the Resuscitation Council UK.
The parties agreed on future cooperation, including the introduction of the latest achievements in the University in e-learning and training and learning courses implementation, based on the British experience.
